Early Childhood Assistant Teacher

This is a teacher's assistant position located in a  Jewish private school in Houston, Texas. 

Duties:
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum for children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Provide care and support for children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers and preschoolers
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions among children
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure the well-being and development of each child
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing individualized attention and support as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with young children, especially those with special needs
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of children in the classroom
