In this role, you will lead a small classroom of approximately 12–13 children, supported by an assistant teacher, creating a joyful, structured, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. Responsibilities
- Lead a preschool classroom of 3-year-old children, fostering a warm, engaging, and structured environment.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum.
- Incorporate Jewish values and traditions in a way that is inclusive and meaningful for all families.
- Guide children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate closely with your assistant teacher and school leadership.
- Communicate regularly with families through the Brightwheel app.
- Participate in monthly staff meetings and occasional school events.
- Utilize dedicated planning time to prepare thoughtful and engaging lessons.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) required.
- Previous experience working in a preschool classroom preferred.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and classroom management.
- Warm, energetic, and engaging teaching style.
- Ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must meet Georgia state licensing requirements for early childhood educators.
- Above-market compensation (to be confirmed by director).
