The Saul Spielberg Early Childhood Center (SSECC) is a nurturing and inclusive learning community grounded in Jewish values and the belief that every child enters the world with unlimited potential and an innate desire to learn. Our mission is to cultivate creative, self-directed, and inquisitive learners by fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging exploration through developmentally appropriate, child-centered experiences.

Position Overview

In this role, you’ll create a warm, nurturing environment where infants feel safe, connected, and encouraged to explore. You’ll support learning through responsive caregiving, play, sensory experiences, movement, and hands-on discovery—following each child’s individual interests, needs, and development.

We’re looking for someone who loves working with infants, values strong relationships, is curious and open to learning, and enjoys being part of a collaborative, supportive team.

Benefits

• $18.50 - $20.00 an hour, based on experience.
• 3 weeks PTO, plus paid time off for Federal Holidays and Jewish Holidays.

Qualifications

• Must love working with children.
• Willing to learn about child development and best practices in early childhood education.
• Familiarity or openness to learning/teaching about Jewish traditions, holidays, and values.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
