We are looking for an experienced toddler teacher to join our team at Jennifer Rosen Meade Preschool! If you love working with children and enjoy a collaborative team of teachers in a warm and supportive environment, we want to hear from you. This position will support the younger pod in the school which includes the infant and toddler rooms. Potential to support older pod, depending on staffing needs.

Full Time Employment: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (schedule is negotiable)
Work Schedule and Responsibilities:
Maintain a positive and nurturing environment
Collaborate with teachers and other staff
Build positive connections with students, staff, and parents
Ensure children's safety
Help to implement developmentally-appropriate curriculum using Teaching Strategies Gold
Respond to children's individual needs (our school has children aged 3 months to 5 years)
Learn and follow each classrooms routines and behavioral expectations

Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Required
BA or CDA preferred
1-2 years experience including: child care, teaching, before/after school programs, babysitting
Love of children
Positive and collaborative attitude
Upon hiring, DCYF Portable Background Check and state required trainings (Basic 30 Hour STARS, First Aid/CPR, Safe Sleep, etc) must be completed.
May substitute work experience for education.
