About UsMARJCC Early Childhood Academy is a growing Jewish early childhood program serving children from infancy through kindergarten. We are expanding our team and seeking flexible, relationship-oriented whole school teachers who enjoy variety, collaboration, and supporting children across multiple age groups.
Position OverviewWhole School Teachers are essential members of our school community. This role supports classrooms throughout the school day, helping maintain continuity, supervision, and strong classroom experiences for children and teachers.
This position is ideal for:
- New to the field educators gaining classroom experience
- College students pursuing education or child development
- Experienced support staff looking for flexible schedules
- Individuals who enjoy working with different age groups and teaching teams

What Success Looks Like in This RoleSuccessful Whole School Teachers:
- Transition comfortably between classrooms and age groups
- Build positive relationships with children and staff throughout the school
- Step into classrooms calmly and confidently
- Support teachers proactively throughout the day
- Help maintain consistency and emotional safety for children
- Bring flexibility, professionalism, and teamwork to changing daily needs
Key Responsibilities- Provide classroom coverage across infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-k classrooms
- Support classroom routines, transitions, meals, outdoor play, and nap schedules
- Assist lead teachers with supervision and classroom organization
- Step into aftercare and extended-day support as needed
- Help maintain safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environments
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
Qualifications- Experience working with children preferred but not required
- Warm, dependable, and flexible personality
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing classroom needs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Interest in early childhood education and child development
Candidates must either:
- Hold Florida DCF 45-Hour Training Certification OR
- Be willing to complete the DCF 45-hour training within 6 months of hire

- Full-time
- Afternoon
- Extended-day
Potential shifts may include:
- 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM
- 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM
- Full-day schedules as needed
