What You’ll Do
As a Lead Educator, you will:
- Design and implement thoughtful, developmentally appropriate experiences that reflect children’s interests and Jewish values
- Create a classroom environment that is beautiful, intentional, and rich in opportunities for exploration
- Document children’s learning through photos, observations, and storytelling
- Work closely with co-teachers to plan, reflect, and grow as a teaching team
- Foster meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Bring Jewish holidays, traditions, Hebrew language, and values into the classroom in age-appropriate, inclusive ways
- Collaborate with the director and pedagogical team on curriculum development and professional learning

- Knowledgeable about (or eager to learn about) Reggio-inspired practices
- Comfortable incorporating Jewish learning and traditions into classroom life
- Skilled in communication and collaboration
- Committed to personal growth and lifelong learning
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in early childhood education, ideally as a lead or co-lead teacher
- Familiarity with Reggio, co-constuctivist or emergent curriculum approaches is a plus
- Knowledge of Jewish culture and holidays
- Ability to meet licensing requirements for early childhood educators
