Lead and Assistant Teacher - Early Childhood Education

We are seeking both Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers to join our early childhood team. In these roles, you will work collaboratively to create a warm, engaging classroom environment while supporting children’s development across all domains. Responsibilities:
Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for young children.
Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Lead Teachers: Design curriculum and lead family communication.
Assistant Teachers: Support classroom activities and daily routines.
Maintain appropriate child-to-teacher ratios and ensure compliance with all regulations.
Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Collaborate with teaching team members to support a positive classroom and school culture.
Qualifications:
Lead Teachers: Minimum of 6 early childhood education credits required.
Assistant Teachers: High school diploma required.
All candidates must be at least 19 years old.
Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred for Lead Teachers.
Previous experience working with young children preferred.
Strong understanding of child development and classroom management.
Warm, engaging, and relationship-driven approach.
Must meet Illinois DCFS licensing requirements.
