We are seeking a vision-driven, operationally strong Head of School who brings heart, leadership, and strategic expertise to guide our next chapter of growth. The Head of School is the senior leader responsible for the overall success of the Academy, educational excellence, community building, teacher development, operational efficiency, and strong financial stewardship. This leader will partner closely with the Chief of Jewish Education and JCC leadership while overseeing day-to-day school operations. This is a full-time role supporting infants, toddlers, preschool, and kindergarten/early elementary programming.

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership across all age groups (infants through kindergarten).
- Ensure high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum and classroom practices.
- Build and maintain an inclusive, welcoming school culture for families and staff of all backgrounds.
- Coach, mentor, and support teachers and instructional staff.
- Lead enrollment efforts, family communication, and community engagement.
- Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, records, and general center management.
- Ensure compliance with Texas Licensing and accreditation requirements.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and oversight of expenses.
- Partner with JCC leadership on strategy, operations, and long-term program growth.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and evaluate staff while fostering a supportive team culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Six (6)+ years of early childhood or school-based leadership experience.
- Strong operational, budgeting, and financial management skills.
- Deep understanding of ECE best practices and child development.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively with families and staff.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to cultivate a positive, inclusive culture.
- Master’s degree preferred (not required).
- Experience in a Jewish community or mission-driven setting is a plus.
