What You'll Do:
As an Infant Co-Teacher, you’ll be an essential part of a teaching team that:
- Creates a nurturing, calm, and responsive environment for infants
- Builds strong, attuned relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Collaborates with co-teachers to observe, reflect, and plan developmentally appropriate experiences
- Set up and maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to best support children's health and safety
- Embodies and models Jewish values such as chesed (kindness), kehillah (community), and tikkun olam (repairing the world)
- Supports a classroom culture of empathy, joy, and discovery
- A supportive, reflective teaching community committed to ongoing professional growth
- Opportunities for learning and mentorship in child development, Jewish early childhood education, and the Reggio Emilia approach
- A warm, welcoming workplace where your voice and contributions are valued
- Paid professional development and collaborative planning time
- Have experience working with infants in an early childhood setting
- Are passionate about nurturing each child as a whole person
- Thrive in a team-oriented environment and value open, respectful communication
- Are eager to learn and grow alongside a thoughtful and dedicated staff
- Hold (or are working toward) an ECE credential or degree (preferred but not required)
