We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pre-School Teacher to join our Jewish Early Learning Center for fall 2024. As a Pre-School Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and preparing them for the future. Your creativity, patience, and ability to create a nurturing environment will contribute to the overall development of our students.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans, promoting social and emotional development, and fostering a love for learning. You will work closely with parents and other staff members to ensure that each child receives personalized attention and support. Additionally, you will maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, manage classroom behavior, and assess student progress.

This is a school year position. Full Time Hours 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Thursday and 8:00am-2:00pm on Fridays. The salary starts at $40,000 per year and is based on experience. Part Time Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30 -12:15 and Fridays until 2:00. Additional hours are possible.

- Promote social and emotional development in young children.
- Foster a love for learning and encourage curiosity.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment. inside and outside.
- Manage classroom behavior and encourage positive interactions.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents.
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field
- State certification or licensure for early childhood education preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children preferred
- Patience, creativity, and a nurturing nature
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members
