About Us

We are a warm, play-based preschool rooted in developmentally appropriate practices and social-emotional growth. Our nurturing team is dedicated to fostering curiosity, independence, and kindness through hands-on learning experiences. We’re seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher who shares our love for early childhood education and understands the importance of child-led exploration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Co-create and implement a play-based curriculum with your team teacher to support the cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development of each child.

  • Foster a nurturing, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Observe, assess, and document children's development to support individualized learning.

  • Collaborate closely with co-teachers and the wider school team to plan engaging, age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.

  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

  • Communicate regularly with parents through verbal updates, newsletters, and digital platforms.

  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom and follow all health and safety guidelines.

  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.

  • Support children in developing self-regulation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Assist with classroom setup, daily routines, and transitions.


Qualifications

An ideal candidate will be warm, nurturing, flexible, and committed to lifelong learning. The following qualifications are accepted for this position:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or a related human services field
    OR

  • High school diploma/GED plus 30 credit hours in early childhood or related field
    OR

  • High school diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience working with children in a classroom setting


Additional Requirements

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet throughout the day

  • CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
