Full-Time | Starting August 2026

At Elevated, we believe in the power of education to build strong, connected communities. We partner with Jewish schools and early childhood centers across Ohio to recruit, support, and elevate talented educators. While our roots are in the Jewish community, our schools welcome students, families, and teachers of all backgrounds. What unites us is a shared commitment to high-quality education, nurturing environments, and helping children thrive.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join one of our partner schools beginning in August 2026 for the 2026–2027 school year.

In this full-time role, you will lead a classroom of bright and curious preschoolers, creating a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. You will design hands-on, play-based learning experiences that foster curiosity, independence, and early social-emotional growth, while building strong partnerships with families and collaborating closely with your teaching team.

This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role within a supportive, mission-driven early childhood community.

Substitute and floating opportunities may be available prior to the 2026–2027 school year for candidates interested in getting to know the school community sooner.

Qualifications:

We are seeking an educator who brings both experience and leadership to the classroom.

  • Preschool classroom experience required.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field strongly preferred.

  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential accepted if combined with strong experience.

  • Must meet Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) lead teacher qualification requirements.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to guide classroom planning and collaboration.

  • Strong understanding of child development and play-based curriculum.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead classroom planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum.

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and organized learning environment.

  • Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.

  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or support staff.

  • Build strong school-to-home partnerships with families.

  • Collaborate with administrators and colleagues to foster a positive, team-oriented culture.

If you are an experienced early childhood educator ready to lead a classroom and make a lasting impact, we would love to connect. Take the next step in your teaching career with Elevated.
