Seeking enthusiastic professionals to support student's growth and exploration!

As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a critical role in nurturing the growth, development, and learning of student's in our care. Our ideal candidate is a professional with a strong understanding of child development and the skills to create a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that foster cognitive, emotional, and physical development in toddlers.
  • Create and maintain a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages socialization, exploration, and learning.
  • Develop and execute individualized lesson plans based on the developmental needs of each child.
  • Implement our Judaic curriculum.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress. Maintain documentation of child development, behavior, and any significant milestones.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support the overall growth of each child.
  • Effectively communicate with families, providing updates on their child’s progress and well-being, and addressing any concerns.
  • Ensure that the classroom and materials are kept clean and organized.
  • Support social emotional growth using appropriate behavioral guidance.
  • Maintain a sanitary classroom environment. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma is required, CDA or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred
  • Professional knowledge of child development principles, including milestones and best practices for toddler education.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an early childhood education setting, preferably with toddlers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate clearly and effectively with parents and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and create a team-oriented environment.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR (preferred, but not required).
