Subsitute Teachers for Early Childhood Program

Lake Oswego, OR
Part Time to Full Time
Student (College)

Maayan Torah Day School is a warm, nurturing Jewish private school seeking caring, creative, and dependable substitute teachers to join our early childhood team. We are looking for educators who enjoy working with young children and are excited to learn and grow with us.

Our early childhood program serves children from infancy through 5 years of age. Whether you're a college student, someone working part-time, retired, or have a flexible schedule and are looking for extra hours, this could be a great opportunity!

We are building our substitute list to help cover both planned absences and unexpected illnesses. While we occasionally know about openings in advance, many substitute opportunities come up the evening before or even the morning of, so flexibility is important.

We understand that everyone's availability is different. We work with each of our substitute teachers to determine whether they're looking for more on-call opportunities, scheduled shifts planned in advance, or a combination of both. Our goal is to find a schedule that works well for both you and our school.

Many of our substitutes have gone on to become permanent members of our team! In fact, several of our current full-time teachers started as substitutes. If you're looking for an opportunity to gain experience, build relationships, and potentially grow into a larger role, we'd love to meet you.
